A retail sock assortment needs more than a pack total. DALI connects yarn and knitting requirements with measured sizes, production pairs, approved artwork and retail-pack combinations for US and Canadian brand and retail programs.
Specify the sock before calculating the assortment
Identify the wearer, sock length, yarn blend, construction, cuff and toe requirements. Link the local size label to agreed measurements and the method used to check the sample. Jacquard artwork, logo placement and color references should relate to the same sock construction. A photograph can establish the visual direction, but the yarn, fit and performance requirements still need a working specification.

Reconcile production pairs with selling units
Give the number of pairs for each style, color and size, then the composition of each retail pack. For example, 2,000 three-pair packs require 6,000 pairs before any separately agreed allowance; this is a calculation example, not a minimum order quantity. Where packs mix colors, use the pack combinations to calculate each color's production requirement. Keep destination and size ratios visible rather than applying one average across the assortment.

03
Separate US and Canadian label approvals
Keep fiber, origin, responsible-business or dealer information and the applicable care wording connected to the approved sock specification. Review Canadian disclosure and language requirements separately from the US artwork. The band, hanger, barcode label and outer carton may use different item references or information fields. Identify which file and approval apply to each destination before the retail pack is finalized.

Connect factory review, inspection and delivery
DALI's sock operations form part of the China and Cambodia network. Review the proposed operation, required workplace records and product tests for the yarn and construction being sourced. Agree inspection criteria for size, workmanship, appearance and pack contents. Provide distribution-center instructions, carton quantities and the requested delivery window; shipping terms, appointments and final production timing are agreed for the actual order.

Working files for your destination
Use the working files to organize the information you have. Add the buyer manual, artwork and technical references where available; missing details can be identified during the initial review.
Complete the fields available for your project and email the workbook with supporting files to [email protected], or begin with the website inquiry form.
Connect supplier review with the proposed production site
DALI's China and Cambodia network brings together materials, garment and sock manufacturing. The team reviews the proposed operation, sampling scope and production requirements for the product. Factory workplace assessments, material records and product test results address different buying questions.
Technical and regulatory references
Check the scope for your product and destination. These references do not establish certification, approval or test results for a DALI product or factory.

Destination notes support procurement preparation, not a complete compliance determination. Confirm current requirements for the actual product, supply stage, origin and country of sale with your buyer and qualified advisers. Import treatment and production timing are agreed for the proposed order.

Frequently asked
Buyer questions
01Should my inquiry list pairs or retail packs?
Give both where possible, with style, color and size allocations. A three-pair pack ordered in 2,000 packs represents 6,000 pairs. The example explains the units; it is not DALI's MOQ.
02Can packaging details be added later?
Yes. Begin with the estimated assortment and mark unresolved pack details. Confirm pack contents, materials, assembly and artwork before final quotation and bulk approval because they affect quantities and production planning.
03Can one sock style use different US and Canadian packs?
The common sock specification can be reviewed with separate destination packs. Provide the pair combinations, item references, barcode data and approved label wording for each version so quantities and pack assembly remain identifiable.
Tell DALI where the products will be sold, what you intend to source and the estimated bulk quantities. The team connects product development with supplier approval, retail presentation and delivery requirements.
