Underwear Manufacturing for US and Canadian Brands
Connect the underwear fit, fabric, waistband and retail pack before bulk approval. DALI brings garment and material development together for US and Canadian brands and retailers, with the proposed China or Cambodia operation reviewed against the product and buyer requirements.
Keep product sizes and destination assortments aligned
Start with the wearer, silhouette and measured size specification. Men's briefs, boxer briefs, women's briefs and bonded styles do not share one construction or approval reference. Define measurement points and tolerances, fabric weight and stretch, gusset material, waistband width and attachment. DALI's garment, fabric and elastic capabilities allow these components to be reviewed within the same development discussion before the sample is used to approve bulk production.

02
Connect garment quantities with the retail assortment
State pieces by style, color and size, then identify the garments included in each multipack. A pack quantity is not the production quantity. If the US and Canadian assortments use different color combinations, size ratios or item numbers, record those differences before pack artwork and material quantities are finalized. Separate the initial order from any replenishment estimate rather than treating an annual forecast as the confirmed production quantity.

03
Approve label and pack versions for each destination
Identify the responsible business, composition, origin and care information for the US label review. For Canada, review the applicable textile disclosure and language requirements with the buyer, including the approved English and French wording where required. Connect the garment label, retail pack, barcode and carton instructions to a dated artwork version. Product safety and buyer testing requirements need their own review; label approval alone does not establish product approval.

Review the proposed site and order controls
DALI manufactures in China and Cambodia. Share the supplier approval manual, workplace assessment requests, material-document requirements and underwear test protocol before the production site is agreed. The inspection plan should connect the approved sample with measurements, construction, workmanship and pack contents. Discuss the delivery location and requested window separately from the manufacturing-country decision; classification, origin and import treatment need shipment-specific confirmation.

Manufacturing and supplier review
Review the supplier as well as the underwear collection
DALI's corporate materials identify the US and Canada among its export-market experience. For a new buying program, review the named production site, workplace requirements and relevant audit records alongside the garment, fabric and retail-pack specification.
Elastic material references for garment development.
Production network
Compare the manufacturing operations and confirm the site proposed for your assortment.
Use the working files to organize the information you have. Add the buyer manual, artwork and technical references where available; missing details can be identified during the initial review.

Connect supplier review with the proposed production site
DALI's China and Cambodia network brings together materials, garment and sock manufacturing. The team reviews the proposed operation, sampling scope and production requirements for the product. Factory workplace assessments, material records and product test results address different buying questions.
Technical and regulatory references
Check the scope for your product and destination. These references do not establish certification, approval or test results for a DALI product or factory.
Canada's textile-label and advertising guidance; consult the current legislation for a specific product.

Destination notes support procurement preparation, not a complete compliance determination. Confirm current requirements for the actual product, supply stage, origin and country of sale with your buyer and qualified advisers. Import treatment and production timing are agreed for the proposed order.

Frequently asked
Buyer questions
01Where would our underwear program be manufactured?
DALI's manufacturing network is in China and Cambodia. The proposed operation is reviewed against the underwear construction, quantity, schedule, destination and buyer approval requirements; DALI does not represent these operations as US or Canadian factories.
02Can the US and Canadian orders use different retail packs?
Yes. Identify the common garment specification and provide separate pack contents, artwork versions, language requirements, barcodes and quantities where they differ. Pack materials and assembly requirements are reviewed before quotation and production approval.
03Can we start before every technical file is complete?
Yes. Send a product reference, estimated bulk volume, intended wearer and destination. Identify the decisions the sample needs to support. The team can review missing specifications and approvals during development; small-batch production is not offered.
Tell DALI where the products will be sold, what you intend to source and the estimated bulk quantities. The team connects product development with supplier approval, retail presentation and delivery requirements.
