Arabic Label and Carton Mark Checklist

Keep Arabic wording, product information and shipment identification connected to the correct destination and artwork version. A clear approval file separates what belongs on the garment, the selling unit and the outer carton before packaging is produced.

Sourcing guidance

Prepare a destination-specific buying brief

01

Start with the product and final destination

Identify the garment or textile item, country of sale and importer before collecting wording. Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other destinations may require different product information and conformity review. Agree the source of the applicable instructions and the person who will approve the translation. A reference image can show layout, but it should not be used to infer missing fiber, care, origin or responsible-business information.

  • Product, destination and importer instruction
  • Approved information fields and translation owner
  • Required product or material evidence for any claim
02

Separate the garment label from the retail pack

For the garment label, review the buyer-approved composition, care, size, origin and responsible-business fields that apply to the product. For the retail pack, identify the product name, pack contents, item reference and barcode information required by the buyer. Specify Arabic and any other wording at each level. Changes to a multipack description need to agree with the actual garments or sock pairs inside that selling unit.

  • Garment-label wording and attachment position
  • Retail-pack contents, layout and item reference
  • Buyer-supplied barcode data and clear placement
03

Connect carton marks to the order allocation

Outer-carton information serves receiving and shipment identification, not the same purpose as a consumer label. Provide purchase-order and item references, carton numbering, quantities, size and color breakdowns, destination and any buyer-required handling fields. Confirm the unit behind every quantity: pieces, pairs, sets or retail packs. State which fields require Arabic or another language, and match the marks to the packing list rather than using an unverified sample carton.

  • Purchase-order, item and carton references
  • Quantity unit and assortment inside the carton
  • Destination-specific mark format and packing-list consistency
04

Approve a production proof with a traceable version

Use a dated artwork file and a proof showing Arabic text direction, legibility, fonts, dimensions and placement. Ask the buyer's designated approver to check the complete combination of languages, numbers and symbols. Keep a revision tied to the affected product, destination and pack level. If information is unresolved, record the open point before bulk packaging approval; do not silently substitute wording from another market.

  • Dated artwork and readable production proof
  • Named wording and artwork approver
  • Product, destination and pack-level revision record

Working files for your destination

Use the working files to organize the information you have. Add the buyer manual, artwork and technical references where available; missing details can be identified during the initial review.

Connect supplier review with the proposed production site

DALI's China and Cambodia network brings together materials, garment and sock manufacturing. The team reviews the proposed operation, sampling scope and production requirements for the product. Factory workplace assessments, material records and product test results address different buying questions.

Technical and regulatory references

Check the scope for your product and destination. These references do not establish certification, approval or test results for a DALI product or factory.

References checked .

Destination notes support procurement preparation, not a complete compliance determination. Confirm current requirements for the actual product, supply stage, origin and country of sale with your buyer and qualified advisers. Import treatment and production timing are agreed for the proposed order.

Frequently asked

Buyer questions

01Who should confirm the translated wording?

The buyer or its designated qualified approver should provide or approve the wording for the actual destination. DALI uses the agreed artwork reference for production. Translation support and responsibility for legal review need to be agreed separately.

02Can carton marks use a different language from the retail label?

Specify the required language and fields for each level separately, then have the buyer confirm them against the applicable destination and shipment instructions. An outer-carton instruction does not by itself establish the consumer-label requirement.

03Does approved Arabic artwork confirm that the product is compliant?

No. Artwork approval addresses the agreed information and presentation. The actual product, importer obligations, applicable conformity process and supporting tests or documents need their own review for the destination.
