DALI apparel manufacturing

Apparel Manufacturing for Middle East Buyers

Build the collection around the final country of sale, not only a regional buying-office address. DALI connects apparel, fabric and trim development with China and Cambodia manufacturing for Middle East brands, retailers and importers planning bulk programs.

Prepare a destination-specific buying brief

01

Define the assortment and intended wearer

Identify the category, wearer, construction, fabric and fit reference rather than inferring the range from a regional label. DALI's product scope includes underwear, socks, babywear, sleepwear and swimwear, with fabric and elastic development alongside finished garments. State any coverage, styling or retail presentation requirements in the buying brief. For a fabric or trim order, give the composition, construction, width and quantity unit instead of a garment size assortment.

  • Product or material specification and intended application
  • Estimated bulk quantities with pieces, pairs, sets or material units
  • Size reference, pack contents and approved styling direction
02

Separate Saudi, UAE and other destination requirements

For Saudi Arabia, ask the importer to confirm the current textile regulation and any applicable Saber route for the classified product. For the UAE, identify whether the shipment is for local sale or re-export and review the applicable standards with the importer. Other destinations need their own country instructions. A regional distributor's address or an approved Arabic label does not establish the complete product or shipment requirements.

  • Final country of sale and importer
  • Product classification and applicable conformity requests
  • Destination allocation and shipment responsibilities
03

Approve Arabic and other artwork at each pack level

Provide buyer-approved wording and identify the translation approver. Keep garment composition and care labels separate from retail-pack copy, item labels and outer-carton marks. The placement, text direction, barcode area and file version should remain clear in the production proof. Confirm which countries and products each file covers so an updated translation is not applied to an unrelated assortment.

  • Approved wording and artwork proof
  • Garment, retail pack and carton placement
  • Country, style and dated version for each file
04

Align factory approval, sampling and the launch window

Review the proposed operation with the buyer's workplace assessment and material-document requirements. Agree what the sample must demonstrate, the product tests needed and the inspection criteria for bulk approval. If a range has a seasonal or event-linked launch, give the actual date, delivery location and approval milestones. Production timing and shipping terms are confirmed for the order rather than promised from the destination name alone.

  • Required factory and material records
  • Sample objectives, approval dates and test scope
  • Launch date, destination packing and delivery instructions

Working files for your destination

Use the working files to organize the information you have. Add the buyer manual, artwork and technical references where available; missing details can be identified during the initial review.

Connect supplier review with the proposed production site

DALI's China and Cambodia network brings together materials, garment and sock manufacturing. The team reviews the proposed operation, sampling scope and production requirements for the product. Factory workplace assessments, material records and product test results address different buying questions.

Technical and regulatory references

Check the scope for your product and destination. These references do not establish certification, approval or test results for a DALI product or factory.

References checked .

Destination notes support procurement preparation, not a complete compliance determination. Confirm current requirements for the actual product, supply stage, origin and country of sale with your buyer and qualified advisers. Import treatment and production timing are agreed for the proposed order.

Frequently asked

Buyer questions

01Can we supply Arabic artwork?

Yes. Send buyer-approved wording and editable artwork with the required placement and a readable proof. Identify who approves the translation, the destination and the products covered. Agree any translation support separately rather than assuming it is included.

02Are requirements identical across Middle East destinations?

No. Name the final country, importer and classified product. Saudi, UAE and other destination requirements need separate confirmation, even if the goods share a regional distributor or similar Arabic packaging.

03Can DALI review both apparel and material sourcing?

Yes. The portfolio covers underwear, socks, babywear, sleepwear and swimwear, alongside knitted fabrics and elastic components. Provide separate specifications and quantity units for finished garments and materials so the development and manufacturing requirements can be reviewed accurately.
