DALI socks
Stocking and Long Sock Manufacturer
DALI's sock manufacturing network supports knitted long-sock development, bringing yarn, leg construction, artwork and finishing into one discussion. Share your required height and wearer profile to review fit at the foot, calf and cuff. For fine hosiery or stockings, the team reviews the construction and sampling route separately.

Product development
Define the construction of stockings & long socks
A stocking and a knitted long sock do not share one standard construction. Identify the hosiery type, yarn, thickness and required leg height. Provide foot and leg dimensions, cuff position and the intended wearer, with artwork or shaping requirements recorded for each size.
- Required leg length and wearer
- Leg and foot dimensions
- Cuff and artwork positions
Developing stockings & long socks with DALI
Define leg length and fit at several heights.
Long styles require more than a foot-length measurement. Review shaft height, calf dimensions, top opening and knitted artwork with the intended wearer, without implying medical compression unless a separate specification and validation support it.
Yarn, knitting and retail presentation
Dedicated sock manufacturing in Jiangsu and Cambodia connects yarn selection, knitted artwork, sizing, finishing and retail pair packs. The proposed site is reviewed against the actual sock construction and order plan.

Sample review and approval
Review leg fit, cuff placement and pattern appearance against the chosen reference. Any pressure or specialist performance requirement needs separate feasibility and test review, not an assumption based on the garment length.
Review the proposed production brief
For stockings & long socks, DALI reviews required leg length and wearer; leg and foot dimensions; cuff and artwork positions. State the quantity in pairs and identify size ratios, color assortments and pairs per retail pack.
Sampling and bulk order requirements →Product and supplier review
Link yarn decisions with the sock operation
Sock knitting in China and Cambodia connects yarn, knitted artwork, finishing and retail presentation with the proposed assortment. DALI reviews the sample's size, toe and heel, cuff and pack contents together, then carries the accepted construction and pair quantities into the production reference.
Frequently asked
Buyer questions
01Why are leg length and width needed separately?
A long sock needs defined height and measurements at the relevant leg positions. Identify the intended wearer and opening or cuff reference so the pattern is not inferred from one generic size label.
