Private-Label Swimwear RFQ Checklist
Prepare a swimwear inquiry that distinguishes collection scope, development questions, quantities and sample objectives.
01
Describe the collection you want to develop
List the item types, intended wearer and destination market. DALI manufactures bikinis, one-piece swimwear and beach shorts. Give each proposed style a reference code and identify whether the design is your own or still being developed. Share images you have permission to use and describe the specific features that matter rather than asking for an exact copy of another brand.
02
Make the open technical choices visible
Provide the size range, fit references, main fabric, lining, elastic and hardware information available. Mark undecided choices explicitly. A reference image does not establish material identity, measurements or a valid performance claim. If the program needs a particular attribute, tell the team how you intend to evaluate it and what evidence the buyer requires.
03
State the quantity and selling-unit structure
Separate styles, colors and sizes. State whether quantities refer to complete sets, individual garments or retail packs. Record whether bikini pieces are sold together or separately. State the requested shipping term and named port or place, if known. Distinguish the required ex-factory date from the arrival date. Ask the quotation to identify packaging, sampling, testing and freight inclusions, quotation validity and assumptions that could change the price or schedule. Actual minimums and timing require project review; examples are not low-MOQ offers.
04
Request a sample for a defined decision
Choose the questions the first sample should resolve: fit, lining coverage, strap construction, print or pack presentation. Identify the review contact and files already available. For a hypothetical one-piece style, a fit-and-lining sample may be more useful than a full collection of color samples before the construction is settled. After discussion, agree the sample scope, costs and subsequent approval steps.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Requesting a firm price without defining the quantity unit.
- Using another brand's technical claims as your own specification.
- Treating a requested delivery period as a confirmed schedule.

Frequently asked
Buyer questions
01Can I contact DALI before selecting all materials?
Yes. Share the collection direction, market and estimated bulk quantities, then identify the development decisions you want to discuss.
02Does a sample inquiry mean a small production order is accepted?
No. Sampling can support a proposed bulk order. Production minimums and feasibility are reviewed for the actual order.
From preparation to development
Discuss the questions that remain open.
Use the guide to organize the information you have, then discuss your product and estimated bulk requirement with DALI. A complete worksheet or technical pack is not required for the first conversation.
